Synthesis of Highly Potent Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (HPAPIs)

Building on a background of successful projects for the synthesis of cross linkers we have installed a specialist facility for the handling and synthesis of Highly Potent APIs (HPAPIs) such as cytotoxic compounds. Initially focused providing products and chemistry synthesis services for the oncology market, our facility comprises:

  • Clean room with isolator (for dispensing and isolation procedures)
  • Dedicated wet chemistry laboratory for the synthesis of HPAPIs
  • Independent air handling system that operates under negative pressure
  • Detailed laboratory safety protocols and standard operating procedures

The Facility is operated at the highest safety level to ensure consistency regardless of compound class from project to project. The default compound categorisation is Level 4 (OEL <1ng). We have an experienced team of chemists that are trained in handling highly potent molecule APIs and we follow SOPs and UOPs to ensure the safety of our staff and the surrounding environment.
